Harlem Collective Opera has announced a travel partnership program supporting “The Black Composer Project — From Dawn to Cosmic Night: A Candlelight Journey Through the Black Soul.”

The company has allied itself with Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Courtyard Marriott 410 East 92nd Street to serve audiences traveling to New York City for the production. Through the partnerships, visitors attending this season’s performances will have access to discounts on transportation and accommodations. Offers can be accessed through Harlem Collective Opera and Mood Magazine NYC, the cultural media platform serving as Black Broadway’s official playbill.

The program builds on Harlem Collective Opera’s broader mission of expanding access to opera and classical music, pairing the organization’s performances with hospitality and tourism partners. Courtyard Marriott 410 East 92nd Street joins as a hospitality partner and is a Black owned hotel, reflecting the initiative’s aim of supporting Black owned businesses alongside cultural tourism.

“The Black Composer Project is more than a performance, it is a cultural journey celebrating the voices, stories, and musical contributions of Black composers throughout history,” said Jarvus Ricardo Hester, Founder and Artistic Director of Harlem Collective Opera, per an official press release. “Our travel partnerships allow audiences to experience the complete journey, from transportation and hospitality to an unforgettable artistic experience celebrating Black excellence.”
