Handel + Haydn Society Unveils 2025-26 Season

The Handel + Haydn Society (H + H) has announced its 2025-26 season. Here is a rundown of the vocal performances on offer.

First up is “Saul.” Jonathan Cohen conducts the H + H Orchestra and Chorus and a cast of singers that includes Neal Davies, Christopher Lowery, Sarah Brady, Julie Roset, and Linard Vrielink.

Performance Dates: Oct. 3 & 5, 2025

Lauren Snouffer, Avery Amereau, Ben Bliss, and Nicholas Newton headline Händel’s “Messiah.” Jonathan Cohen conducts the H + H Orchestra and Chorus.

Performance Dates: Nov. 28 – 30, 2025

Scott Allen Jarrett leads a program that features the H + H Orchestra and Chorus in music by Graupner, J.L. Bach, and J.S. Bach.

Performance Dates: Dec. 18 & 21, 2025

Soprano Carolyn Sampson headlines a program that includes Mozart’s “Exsultate Jubilate.” There will also be works by Haydn and Telemann on the program, conducted by Jonathan Cohen.

Performance Dates: Jan. 9 & 11, 2026

Jonathan Cohen conducts th H + H Orchestra in a program of works by J.S. Bach and Telemann. Vocal soloists include Robin Johannsen, Christopher Lowery, Guy Cutting, and Dingle Yandell.

Performance Dates: May 15 & 16, 2026

The H + H Chorus, under James Burton, performs works by Scarlatti, Gesualdo, Brahms, J.S. Bach, Kuhnau, and Schütz.

Performance Dates: May 29 & 31, 2026
