
Greek National Opera to Offer Tickets to Unemployed for ‘Tosca’ Dress Rehearsal
By Francisco SalazarThe Greek National Opera has announced it will offer 1,500 free tickets to unemployed individuals for the dress rehearsal of Giacomo Puccini’s “Tosca” on May 31, 2024, at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus.
The opera will offer the tickets for the ninth consecutive year.
The production, which will be presented for four performances on June 1, 2, 6 and 11, 2024 at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, will be conducted by conductor and Artistic Director of the Athens State Orchestra Lukas Karytinos, with direction, sets, and costumes designed by the acclaimed director Hugo de Ana.
The cast will include Evgenia Muraveva, Cellia Costea, Riccardo Massi, Carl Tanner, Tassis Christoyannis, and Yanni Yannissis.
The free tickets for “Tosca’s” dress rehearsal will be distributed at the Greek National Opera’s Box Office in the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center on May 29 and 30, 2024.
