Great Performances at the Met to Showcase ‘Dead Man Walking’

Great Performances at the Met is set to showcase Jake Heggie and Terrence McNally’s “Dead Man Walking” on March 15, 2024.

The opera stars Joyce DiDonato, Ryan McKinny, Latonia Moore, and Susan Graham. Met Music Director Yannick Nézet-Séguin conducts this Metropolitan Opera premiere while Ivo Van Hove directs the production. Grammy winner Rhiannon Giddens hosts the broadcast.

Great Performances at the Met raises the curtain on new programs premiering through October 2024 on PBS  and the lineup will include Gounod’s “Roméo et Juliette,” Puccini’s “La Rondine,” Daniel Catán’s “Florencia en el Amazonas,” Bizet’s “Carmen,” and Puccini’s “Madama Butterfly.”
