Grand River Opera is set to present “The Turn of the Screw” this October.

The opera stars Joseph Adams,  Emily Steers, Elizabeth Lepock, Simone Lemieux, Danielle Aprile, Alyssa Bartholomew, Darielle Chomyn, Alessia Vitali, Ken Chamberland, Marcel Van Helden, Jennifer Carter, and Cassandra Amorim. Kate Carver conducts and Anne Meighan directs. Charmaine Fopoussi will be the pianist.

The opera will be presented in Waterloo on Oct. 20 and 21, 2023 followed by performances at Guelph on Oct. 27 and 28.

Per the company’s official website, Grand River Opera is a women-led organization, which aspires to enrich Waterloo Region’s artistic life by featuring the very talented artists who live and work here. Its Founder and Artistic Director is Jennifer Carter. The company previously presented a production of “Suor Angelica.”
