Gran Teatre Del Liceu Live Stream 2017-18: Gregory Kunde & Liudmyla Monastyrska Star in ‘Manon Lescaut’

The Gran Teatre del Liceu will showcase a production of “Manon Lescaut” on Saturday, June 16, 2018.

The performance will be broadcast on La 2 in Barcelona as well as in Madrid in the Plaza Mayor and on mobile devices via RTVE.

The performance will star Liudmyla Monastyrska in the title role with David Bizic as her brother. Gregory Kunde stars as her beloved Des Grieux. Also in the cast is José Manuel Zapata, Mikldi Atxalandabaso, Carlos Chausson, and Marc Pujol.

Emmanuel Villaume conducts in a production by Davide Livermore. This version is a co-production with the Teatro di San Carlo and the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía.

The stream kicks off at 8 p.m. local time. That’s around 3 p.m. EDT and 12 p.m. PST for the start time.

After “Manon Lescaut,” the Gran Teatre del Liceu will showcase Donizetti’s “La Favorite” with Clémentine Margaine, Michael Spyres, and Markus Werba headlining one cast and Ksenia Dudnikova, Stephen Costello, and Mattia Olivieri leading the other cast.
