Gobierno de Aragón Announces 2024 Operatic Season

The Gobierno de Aragón in Spain has announced the 2024 Lírica and Danza season.

Originally scheduled for 2023, the new season will feature three operas.

The first work will be “El Hilo Rojo” which will be presented by Tanzensemble Pfalztheater Kaiserlauten at the Palacio de Congresos de Zaragoza.

Performance Date: Jan. 27, 2024

Bernstein’s “West Side Story” will follow at the Palacio de Congresos de Huesca. Asier Puga leads the Grupo Enigma.

Performance Date: June 1, 2024

Donizetti’s “Lucia di Lammermoor” concludes the season in a production by Joan Antón Rechi. Leonor Bonilla stars in the title role with the Orquesta Reino de Aragón under the direction of Ricardo Casero.

Performance Date: Nov. 15 & 17, 2024
