Glyndebourne has announced that three artists will be part of the organization’s Jerwood Young Artists Programme in 2023.

The three singers include mezzo-soprano Annabel Kennedy, bass-baritone Michael Ronan, and bass Jamie Woollard.

Ronan performed with Glyndebourne in a production of “Les Mamelles de Tirésias” and covered roles in “La Bohème” and “The Wreckers.” He is also a member of the Royal Academy Opera. This summer he will cover roles in “The Rake’s “Progress,” “Don Giovanni,” and “Dialogues des Carmélites” at Glyndebourne.

Kennedy is a member of the Royal College of Music’s International Opera Studio where she has performed in such operas as “Die Zauberflöte,” “Flight,” and “Hänsel und Gretel,” among others.

Woolard, also a member of the Royal College of Music Opera Studio, has performed roles with the Royal Opera House and with St. Martin in the Fields, among many others.
