Nevada’s UNLV Symphony has unveiled its 2025-26 season. While only one performance features vocal performances, several include opera-adjacent programming.

The season will open with a performance of the Prelude to “Die Meistersingers von Nürnberg.” The Wagner piece will be featured alongside works by Beethoven and Brahms.

Performance Date: Oct. 29, 2025

Soprano Ginger Van Buren headlines Mahler’s Symphony No. 4.

Performance Date: Nov. 25, 2025

There will be an all-Strauss program that includes the Suite from “Der Rosenkavalier” as well as “Don Juan.”

Performance Date: Feb. 18, 2025

The season ends with selections from Wagner’s “Der Ring des Nibelungen.”

Performance Date: May 3, 2026
