The brand Ginger O’ has released a new collection entitled ‘Lady O’ dedicated to the villainous operatic character of Lady Macbeth.

The new  collection, which is made up of three different models, a hoodie, a mini dress, or a sweater, showcases the caption “Vieni, t’affretta accendere ti vo’ quel freddo core.” The caption comes from the aria that Lady Macbeth sings in the first act of Verdi’s opera.

“Lady O'” is made for those who love opera but also heavy metal and all the materials used for the clothing are not only of the best quality, but also eco-friendly.

The new clothing line comes in time for the opening of the Teatro alla Scala, which will inaugurate its 2021-22 season with “Macbeth” and represents the fourth collection for Ginger O which has previously released chiamata O’, Zuccher’O, and Play O’.

Ginger O’ was created during the lockdown in an effort to keep opera alive. It was born from the minds of three singers: Anna Maria Sarra, Giuseppina Bridelli, and Anna Corvino; and  director Stefania Panighini.
