Gianandrea Noseda to Conduct Teatro La Fenice’s New Year’s Concert

The Teatro La Fenice has announced that the 2026-27 New Year’s Eve concert will be conducted by Gianandrea Noseda.

Noseda will conduct the famed concert which will be held on Dec. 29, 30, 31, 2026 and Jan. 1, 2027 and will be broadcast live on Rai.

Noseda is a well-known conductor who has performed at the many of the world’s greatest theaters including the Metropolitan Opera, Royal Opera House, Teatro Regio Torino, and London Symphony Orchestra, among others. He is the Music Director of the Zurich Opera and the National Symphony Orchestra.

Next season he brings the Zürich opera to Carnegie Hall for a concert performance of the Ring Cycle.

As every year, the concert will be made up of two parts. The first part will be exclusively orchestra and the second part will be dedicated to opera. The evening will end with “Va, pensiero, sull’ali dorate” from “Nabucco” and “Libiam ne’ lieti calici” from “La Traviata.”

Soloists will be announced at a later date.
