
George Vîrban Joins the Roster of Ben Artists Management
By Francisco SalazarTenor George Vîrban has joined the roster of Ben Artists Management.
Vîrban is a rising star tenors who has won the the Sumi Jo International Singing Competition in 2024, the Jeunes Espoirs in Avignon, and the “Georges Enesco” Competition in Paris.
He has performed such such roles as Don Ottavio (“Don Giovanni”), Lensky (“Eugene Onegin”), and Alfredo (“La Traviata”), and has appeared as a soloist with the Romanian National Opera in Bucharest and the Ion Dacian National Operetta and Musical Theatre, where he is currently a permanent member of the ensemble.
From 2019 to 2021, he was also part of the Opera Studio of the Bavarian State Opera in Munich.
Upcoming engagements include his role debut as Roméo in Gounod’s “Roméo et Juliette” and his house debut at the Teatro Colón de Buenos Aires.
