Fundación Clarós is set to present “Las Caras de Callas,” a benefit concert in honor of Maria Callas as part of her centenary celebration.

The event, slated for Nov. 29, 2023, will take place at the Iglesia del Monasterio de Pedrables in Barcelona. It will feature music by Rossini, Puccini, Bizet, Délibes, Chopin, Bellini, and Saint-Saëns.

Audiences will hear soprano Marcelina Román alongside mezzo-soprano Maria Zoi and pianist Alessandro Amoretti.

Román is a Polish soprano whose upcoming performances include a concert with Cncertkoor Haarlem and the Philharmonie Berlin. She previously performed with Opera Wroclawska and the Altmark Festival.

Zoi has performed with the Opera Florham, Teatro Grattacielo, the Metropolitan Opera Guild, and the Greek National Opera, among others.

The organization is also scheduled to present a similar benefit concert in honor of soprano Victoria de los Ángeles on March 21, 2024.
