Frederick Ballentine, Fleur Barron Headline This Week’s Programming for LA Opera On Now

The Los Angeles Opera has announced the latest programming for its “LA Opera on Now.”

This week’s edition will feature two distinct programs with an emphasis on Halloween-related content and music.

Jeremy Frank will present the latest “Learning at Home (Grownup Edition)” with a focus on the “craziest deaths in opera.”

Streaming Dates: Oct. 27, 2020 at 4 p.m. PDT

For this week’s Living Room Recital, audiences can check out Tenor Frederick Ballentine and  mezzo-soprano Fleur Barron join forces alongside pianist Kunal Lahiry for a Halloween recital featuring a lot of spooky pieces; they will also present the tragic final scene from Bizet’s masterpiece “Carmen.”
