The San Francisco Opera will work together with the City of San Francisco, French Consulate, and Grace Cathedral to put on a concert in support of the Notre-Dame de Paris on April 29, 2019.

The event will feature international superstar Frederica Von Stade, who will perform music by Poulenc, accompanied by pianist Kseniia Polstiankina Barrad. The remainder of the program will include music by Debussy, Duparc, Kamen, Vierne, Clérambault, Cassanéa de Mondonville, Choate, and Allegri.

Other performers will include countertenor Aryeh Nussbaum Cohen, Notre-Dame de Paris organist Johann Vexo, musicians of the San Francisco Symphony, American Bach Soloists & Choir, and Grace Cathedral Choir of Men and Boys.

Here and abroad, Flicka has long been a leader in the performance of French music, and her artistry will bring both comfort and inspiration as we reflect on the catastrophic fire at Notre Dame Cathedral.”
