Classic FM has announced that tenor Freddie De Tommaso will return to host a brand new 4-part series, “Around the World in Eight Opera Houses.”

The tenor will bring audiences on a very personal journey through eight of the world’s most legendary opera houses and the performances that have graced their stages. The series will begin on August 8 at 9 pm.

This is the second time that De Tommaso has worked with Classic FM on a series. In 2024, he hosted a six-part series, “Notes from Italy.” That series saw the tenor celebrate the classical music of Italy and focus on an Italian city.

This season, De Tommaso is set to appear at the Metropolitan Opera, Palau de les Arts, Royal Opera, Wiener Staatsoper, and Berlin State Opera.
