Francesco Meli is set to perform at the Teatro Maggio Musicale Fiorentino in a live streamed concert on June 7, 2020.

The showcase, which will be streamed in collaboration with Idagio, will feature the tenor with the Maggio Musicale’s chorus and orchestra conducted by Marco Armiliato. There will be no audience in the auditorium.

To watch the concert audiences will have to pay 9.90€.

Meli will perform arias from Verdi’s “Luisa Miller,” “La Traviata,” “Il Trovatore,” and “Macbeth.” The program also features music from “Nabucco,” “I Vespri Siciliani,” “La Forza del Destino,” and “Simon Boccanegra.”

The concert marks the first in a series that the Maggio Musicale hopes to present throughout the summer.

The Maggio Musicale recently presented an at home gala featuring some of the world’s greatest stars including Sonya Yoncheva, Diana Damrau, Meli, Leo Nucci, and Luca Salsi.
