Switzerland’s Opéra Lausanne has announced its 2022-23 season.

It all kicks off with a production of “L’Elisir d’Amore” which will star Valentina Nafornita, Laurène Paternò, Jean Miannay, Aslam Safla, Raphaël Hardmeyer, Dovlet Nurgeldiyev, Giorgio Caoduro, Aurélie Brémond, and Adrian Sâmpetrean.

Kir Kabaretti conducts a production by Adriana Sinivia.

Performance Dates: Oct. 2-9, 2022

Miles Mykkanen, Franco Pomponi, Marie Lys, and Anna Steiger star in “Candide.” Gavriel Heine conducts a production by Vincent Boussard.

Performance Dates: Nov. 13-20, 2022

Diego Fasolis leads I Barocchisti in “Il Trionfo del Tempo e del Disinganno.” Federico Fiori, Kangmin Justin Kim, Bejun Mehta, and Massimo Altieri star.

Performance Dates: Nov. 25-27, 2022

Faure’s “Davel” will star Régis Mengus, François Lis, Christophe Berry, Alexandra Dobos-Rodriguez, and Susanne Grischneider. Daniel Kawka conducts a production directed by Gianni Schneider.

Performance Dates: Jan. 29 – Feb. 5, 2023

Auber’s “Le Domino Noir” will be directed by Valérie Lesort. Laurent Campellone conducts a cast starring Marie-Ève Munger, Philippe Talbot, Julia Deit-Ferrand, François Rougier, Marie Lenormand, Raphaël Hardmeyer, and Laurent Montel.

Performance Dates: March 12-19, 2023

Gloria Bruni’s “Pinocchio” will star Anne Sophie Petit, Philippe Cantor, Nuada Le Dreve, Laure-Catherine Beyers, Valentine Dubus, Baptiste Bonfante, and Romaine Favre. François López-Ferrer conducts a production by Cédric Dorier.

Performance Dates: March 31 – April 9, 2023

Francesca Dotto takes on the title role of “Norma” alongside Paolo Fanale, Lucia Cirillo, and Nicolai Elsberg. Diego Fasolis conducts a production directed by Stefano Poda.

Performance Dates: June 4 – 14, 2023 

Closing out the season will be Offenbach’s “L’Île d Tulipatan.” Léonard Ganvert conducts. Gilles Rico directs.

Karen Kamensek will lead the Kattenberg Competition Final.
