Italy’s Teatro Verdi di Padova has announced the 2021 fall season.

The season will include two operatic productions, a New Years Eve concert, and concert performances.

The first concert of the season will be a Gala conducted by Silvia Casarin Rizzolo and starring Francesca Dotto, Veronica Simeoni, Enea Scala,  Lucio Gallo, and Roberto Scandiuzzi The program will include music by Rossini, Donizetti, Bellini, Verdi, Mascagni, Giordano, and Saint Saens.

Performance Date: August 6, 2021

The finals concert of the 30th edition of the Concorso internazionale di canto lirico Iris Adami Corradetti will be held.

Performance Date: Oct. 10, 2021

Donizetti’s “Don Pasquale” will be presented with the winners of the Toti dal Monte competition.

Performance Date: Oct. 31, 2021

Verdi’s “La Traviata”  will be presented in co-production with Rovigo and Treviso.
