Francesca Aspromonte, Deborah Cachet, Siobhan Stagg & Mauro Borgioni Headline ’48 Days Of Early Music In Herne’

The lineup for “48 Days Of Early Music In Herne” has been announced.

For the purposes of this article only vocal works are included. This year’s theme is “Reduce – Reuse – Recycle.”

Soprano Deborah Cachet and mezzo-soprano Marianne Beate Kielland perform “Passgenau,” with the B’Rock Orchestra conducted by Cecilia Bernardini.

“The Best of Everyone” stars soprano Francesca Aspromonte, alto Chiara Brunello, tenor Leonardo Cortellazzi, and bass Mauro Borgioni. Boris Begelman conducts Sound Arsenal.

Mezzo-soprano Sabine Lutzenberger leads “Reorganized,” an evening of “Improvised Polyphony Of The Middle Ages On The Way Of St. James Between Werden Abbey And The Cathedral Of Santiago De Compostela.” They are joined by Per-sound.

Soft Vocals presents “Spiritually Reprocessed.” The concert features secular madrigals by Claudio Monteverdi and “Their Spiritual Travesties” by Aquilino Coppini.

Mozart’s “Idomeneo” (Munich Version 1781) closes the season. Among the cast is sopranos Mari Eriksmoen and Siobhan Stagg, mezzo-soprano Anna Lucia Richter, tenors Tuomas Katajala, Florian Feth, and Francesco Ortega, and bass Matija Bizjan. They are joined by the Zurich Singing Academy and accompanied by the Helsinki Baroque Orchestra.
