Fort Worth Opera Makes Cast Change for ‘La Boheme’

By David Salazar

Fort Worth Opera has made a cast change for its upcoming production of “La Bohème.”

The Puccini opera originally featured Zachary Nelson as Marcello, but will now star Erik Earl Larson in the role.

Laron recently appeared as Count Ceprano in Austin Opera’s “Rigoletto” and will be the baritone soloist in the Memphis Symphony Orchestra’s performances of “Carmina Burana.”

Larson joins a cast that stars Talise Trevigne as Mimì, Giordano Lucà as Rodolfo, Tracey Cantin as Musetta, Efraín Solis as Schaunard, and Donovan Singletary as Colline. Joe Illick conducts with Linda Ade Brand directing.

“La Bohème” kicks off on April 17, 2020 with an additional performance scheduled for April 19, 2020 at Bass Performance Hall.
