Fort Worth Opera Announces 2 Spring Concerts Prior to 2020 Festival

Fort Worth Opera has announced that it will be presenting two special spring ahead of its 2020 festival.

On March 29, 2020, the company will showcase its international cast for its upcoming production of “La Bohème” at the Kimbell Art Museum’s Renzo Piano Pavilian. The concert, entitled “Pops at the Pavilion” will star Talise Trevigne, Giordano Lucà, and Tracy Cantin. Donovan Singletary and Efrain Solis will also perform.

A few weeks later, on April 22, 2020, Trevigne will present a recital at the Amon Carter Museum of American Art. The concert will include music by Beethoven, Schubert, Fauré, Strauss, and Kernis. Fort Worth Opera Artistic Director Joe Illick will be at the piano.

Fort Worth Opera’s 2020 season kicks off on April 17, 2020 with a production of the Puccini masterpiece “La Bohème,” written by Illica and Giacosa. Starting on April 26, it will present Hector Armienta’s “Zorro,” followed by “Die Fledermaus” on May 1 and 3, 2020.
