The Fondazione Haydn in Bolzano and Trento has announced its 2025-26 season. Here is a look at the opera and vocal performances.

Opera

Donizetti’s “L’Elisir d’Amore” is set to be directed by Roberto Catalano and conducted by Alessandro Bonato.

Performance Dates: Nov. 7 & 9, 2025

Ermanno Wolf-Ferrari’s “Il Segreto di Susanna” will be directed by Stefano Vizioli and conducted by Giuseppe Grazioli.

Performance Dates: Feb. 7 & 8, 2026

Fabio Cherstich directs David Lang’s “Note to a Friend.”

Performance Dates: March 7 & 11, 2026

Fabio Cherstich directs a new production of Rossini’s “l’Italiana in Algeri.” Alessandro Cadario conducts.
