Florida Grand Opera to Conclude Winter Season with Double Bill

The Florida Grand Opera has announced the final part of chamber operas highlighting Modern American Composers.

The season will conclude with the Double Bill, “Trouble in Tahiti” by Leonard Bernstein and “Signor Deluso” by Thomas Pasatieri and will be presented at the Miami Theater Center in Miami Shores on March 20 and 21.

In a press release General Director and CEO Susan T. Danis said,  “Even in this time of COVID, our need for music and art is ever-present. We have carefully consulted with the experts, and after a successful run of winter events, we are so pleased to be presenting our final operas of the season in an intimate yet socially distanced space that is perfect for a unique storytelling experience.

The production is set to star Andrew Simpson, Stephanie Doche, Amanda Sheriff, Michael Miller, Nicholas Ward, Ashley Shalna, and Thandolwethu Mamba.
