Florida Grand Opera Announces 2023-24 Season

The Florida Grand Opera has announced its 2023-24 season with three renowned operas.

The season opens with Verdi’s timeless classic “La Traviata.” The opera will star Cecilia Violetta López, Pavel Petrov, and Troy Cook. Chía Patiño directs and Joe Illick conducts.

Performance Dates: Nov. 11 – Dec. 2, 2023

The second opera of the season will be Leoncavallo’s “I Pagliacci.” It will star Limmie Pulliam, Kearstin Piper Brown, and Robert Mellon. Gregory Buchalter conducts and Jeffrey Marc Buchman directs.

Performance Dates: Jan. 27 – Feb. 10, 2024

The season ends with Puccini’s most popular opera “La Bohème.” The Puccini classic is set to feature Davide Giusti, Rebecca Krynski-Cox, and Craig Verm. Matt Cooksey directs and Joseph Mechavich conducts.

Performance Dates: April 6 – May 4, 2023

The opera will be performed at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County / Ziff Ballet Opera House and Broward Center for the Performing Arts / Au-Rene Theater. The casts will be announced at a later date.
