Finnish National Opera to Offer Free Streaming

The Finnish National Opera is set to offer a number free performances on their platform Stage 24, including ballet and opera from the last few years.

Among the operas that are being offered include “Tosca” starring Aušrinė Stundytė and Andrea Carè, “The Flying Dutchman” with Camilla Nylund and Johan Reuter, “Don Giovanni” with Tuomas Pursio, “La Bohème,” “Djurens planet,” and “Das Rheingold” with Tommi Hakala.

The company is also offering Ballet performances including performances of “The Little Mermaid,” and “Pippi Longstockings.”

New productions will be added and for those who want to see the performances go on the company’s official website.

The Finnish National Opera is the latest company to offer streaming following the Metropolitan Opera, Teatro alla Scala, Royal Opera House, Wiener Staatsoper, and Polish National Opera.
