The Festival Verdi is set to conclude with the Gala dell’Accademia Verdiana on Oct. 16, 2023.

The concert will be held at the Teatro Regio di Parma and will be free of charge. Tickets will be available at the Teatro Regio di Parma or online.

The concert will be dedicated to the memory of Learco Tiberti and will showcase 12 students from the academy. Among them are sopranos Carmela Lopez, Sara Minieri, Galina Ovchinnikova, Licia Piermatteo, Lei Wu, tenors Zizhao Chen, Anzor Pilia, Litai Zhuo, baritones Fernando Cisneros Oñate, Bowen Guan, Matteo Pietrapiana, and bass Bo Yang. They will be accompanied by Francesco Izzo on piano.

The concert will showcase excerpts from “La Traviata,” “Un Ballo in Maschera,” “Simon Boccanegra,” “Luisa Miller,” “Macbeth,” “Don Carlo,” and “Falstaff.”
