Festival Ópera Villera Announces 2022 Edition

The second Festival Ópera Villera at Buenos Aires in Argentina is set to open on Oct. 13 and runs through the 23rd.

The festival opens with Juventus Lyrica’s production of “Carmen,” which features alumni from Asociación Civil Centro Artístico Solidario Argentino.

Performance Date: Oct. 13, 2022 

There will be a gala performance at the Sede Fátima.

Performance Date: Oct. 15, 2022 

Audiences will be able to watch “Aída en el Gran Teatro.”

Performance Date: Oct. 17 & 21, 2022

That will be followed up by the premiere of three micro-operas by students of the Asociación Civil Centro Artístico Solidario Argentino.

Performance Date: Oct. 19, 2022

There will then be another concert performance with a press conference at the Mundo Villa.

Performance Date: Oct. 20, 2022

Audiences will then get a chance to hear “La Cenerentola” at the Sede Fátima.

Performance Date: Oct. 21, 2022

Alumni of the Asociación Civil Centro Artístico Solidario Argentino and the Juvenil de Adultos will present “La Noche de los Museos.”

Performance Date: Oct. 22, 2022

The festival draws to a close with a gala.

Performance Date: Oct. 23, 2022

Audiences will also have access to rehearsals for new works, virtual workshops, and screenings of documentaries. There will also be masterclasses.
