Ana Farini and Néstor Sánchez Sotelo’s documentary “Ópera Villera” is available to stream throughout Argentina courtesy of the Festival Internacional del Cine Independiente.

The documentary will be available to stream between May 24 – 31, 2023.

“Ópera Villera” showcases the work that takes place at the Centro Artístico Solidario Argentino, which has been giving free music lessons to children and adolescents throughout neighborhoods in Buenos Aires that have limited resources. Since 2021, the organization has also started the Festival de Ópera Villera, which serves as the basis for the documentary.

In addition to the streaming option, the documentary will also be presented at the Centro Cultural Kirchner on Friday, May 26, 2023. Entry to the event is open to the general public at no additional cost.
