On August 25 and 27, the Luglio Musicale Trapanese will present a production of “Don Pasquale” at the open-air Theatre Giuseppe Di Stefano.

The production will star Federico Longhi in the title role in a revival production by Pier Francesco Maestrini. The production will also star Francesca Benitez as Norina, Patrick Kabongo as Ernesto, and Alessio Arduini as Malatesta. The Luglio Musicale Trapanese Orchestra will be conducted by maestro Antonino Fogliani.

Longhi will return to the title role following his role debut in the role at the Teatro Regio di Parma.

In a press statement, Longhi noted, “I was really enthusiastic to accept this invitation by the Luglio Musicale Trapanese to perform Don Pasquale, a new friendship of mine, that garnered me already great satisfactions. Playing this role in a festival like this, with such a historic tradition is a double-joy.”
