The Cortina D’Ampezzo has released a music video of “Nessun dorma per Cortina 2021” in anticipation of the World Ski Championship.

The video, which was released on YouTube features tenor Fabio Sartori accompanied by pianist Oscar Alberto Bof. Filmed by Cortina Marketing and CortinAteatro, the audiovisual project hopes to infuse hope and confidence in the future, by featuring images of Cortina and panoramic shots of the sun.

The FIS Alpine World Ski Championships 2021 are scheduled for Feb. 8 and will showcase the world’s greatest skiers.

Sartori is one of the world’s most sought after tenors who has performed at the Teatro alla Scala, Royal Opera, Wiener Staatsoper, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Teatro San Carlo, and Maggio Musicale. He is well known for his interpretations of the Verdi and verismo repertoire.
