F. Paul Driscoll, Anthony Clark Evans & Elliot Madore Headline Promethean Live Series for Week of May 18

The Promethean Live series has unveiled its class offerings for the week of May 18.

It all kicks off on Monday, May 18 at 12 p.m. EDT with an Audition Aria Class led by Roberto Kalb, the Resident Conductor and Head of Music at Opera Theatre of Saint Louis. This class will explore the Puccini aria “Che gelida manina” with guest David Lomeli.

Chase Schapp will continue his Fitness for Singers class on Monday at 1 p.m. EDT, with a second session set for Thursday, May 21 at 11 a.m. EDT.

On Tuesday, tenor Anthony Clark Evans will discuss the challenges of having a family while working on the road and finding the work-life balance as a singer. His class will start at 12 p.m. on May 19.

On Wednesday, May 20, Opera News Editor-in-Chief F. Paul Driscoll will discuss how to give a good interview and working with media.

Baritone Elliot Madore will give a class on finding balance onstage and offstage on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at 12 p.m. EDT.

It all comes to close when Joshua Winograde, Senior Director Of Artistic Programs at LA Opera, Vocal Casting Director at the American Symphony Orchestra, Bard Summerscape, and Bard Music festival, talks about his life in administration while offering advice on auditions. The class starts at 2 p.m. EDT on Friday, May 22, 2020.
