Eurasia Festival To Present 6 Singers In Park Avenue Concert Series

The Eurasia Festival will present the latest edition in its Park Avenue Concert Series on Nov. 16, 2019.

The concert, which is set to take place at the Eurasia Cultural Center at 8 p.m. will star six singers in wide-ranging repertory. Among the artists are soprano Gianna Barone, mezzo-soprano Rachel Deatherage, mezzo-soprano Eugenia Forteza, soprano Ana Maria Gelovani, soprano Lauren Lester, and tenor Radoslaw Strzelecki. Aza Sydykov will play at the piano.

The Eurasia Festival is a project of the Kyrgyz American Foundation which was established to showcase and preserve the cultural heritage of the Eurasian region and bring it to the American public. Per the official website, the ultimate aim is “to promote international understanding and goodwill by means of cultural exchange.”

Sydykov is the president of the Festival with Jonathan Levin as its Vide President, Nikoleta Rallis as Programs Manager, Eric Thompson as Programs Coordinator, Kenneth Smith as Public Relations, and Andrew Wachtel as Director of Academic Affairs.
