Eugene Opera Announces New Executive Director
By David SalazarEugene Opera has announced that Kari Welch will be its new Executive Director.
A graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point and University of Oregon, Welch has worked on fundraising and marketing with non-profits such as the Lane Arts Council, Wellsprings Friends School, and Very Little Theatre.
“It’s always been my dream to guide a performing arts company. I am deeply honored to join the Eugene Opera family and am eager to leverage my skills in advancing this exceptional organization as it approaches its 50th anniversary,” Welch said in an official press release.
Welch will work alongside Artistic Director and Conductor Andrew Bisantz. The company will announce its new season at the end of the month.
