Essential Voices USA to Present Sing-Along of ‘Messiah’
By David SalazarEssential Voices USA will present a sing-along performance of Händel’s “Messiah” on April 13, 2024 at Grace Church in Brooklyn, Heights.
The showcase will be conducted by Judith Clurman with Paul Olson at the organ. Soloists include Elisa Singer Strom, Helen Karloski, Paul D’Arcy, and Bryan Murray.
“It is my hope that the public will come and join in the delight of singing through this glorious and meaningful music in a beautiful space,” Clurman, who has over 70 world premieres throughout her career and has worked as the Director of Choral Activities at The Juilliard School for 18 years, said in an official press statement.
The event is part of the EVUSA’s Community Project which provides free events for communities around New York City.
