Es Devlin & Nico Muhly to Premiere Choral Installation ‘360 Vessels’
By David SalazarArtist Es Devlin and composer Nico Muhly will present the world premiere of “360 Vessels,” a new choral installation.
The showcase, set for Saturday, April 25, 2026 at the Stephen A. Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities at the University of Oxford, will feature 360 hand-made clay vessels forming a circular landscape amidst the audience as Schola Cantorum of Oxford and the University Chamber Choir, conducted by Stephen Grahl, perform a specially commissioned choral work by Muhly.
In the lead-up to the event, the vessels are being shaped in a series of workshops developed by Devlin in collaboration with the Institute for Ethics in AI as part of her Bloomberg-Oxford Fellowship.
