Erwin Schrott, Ellie Dehn, Sophie Bevan Headline Royal Opera House’s Upcoming Streams

The Royal Opera House has announced a new streaming program as part of its ongoing #OurHouseToYourHouse.

The company will present Mozart’s “The Marriage of Figaro” in a production from 2015. The opera stars Erwin Schrott in the title role alongside Sophie Bevan as Susanna, Stéphane Degout as Count Almaviva, Ellie Dehn as Countess Almaviva, and Kate Lindsey as Cherubino. The David McVicar production was conducted by Ivor Bolton.

Streaming Date: March 5, 2021 at 7 p.m. GMT

The company will also be streaming  Kenneth MacMillan’s ragtime ensemble-piece “Elite Syncopations.”

The company is currently streaming “Il Triticco” as well as several ballets on its official website.
