Classical Movements has announced its plans for a spring and summer 2021 concert series.

In a press release, the organization noted that it is still seeking out the proper permits from the Alexandria City Council in Virginia to be able to host the outdoor showcases. The concert series is set to begin on March 27 and would run through August 27, 2021.

For the purposes of this article, we will focus solely on opera or vocal  performances.

Joshua Blue and Ashley Marie Robillard are set to perform a concert of opera arias and song.

Performance Date: April 10, 2021

Diana Sáez and the Choir of Hope and Harmony will perform a collection of songs from Latin America. 

Performance Date: May 13, 2021

Mezzo-soprano Elizebeth Barnes will perform French songs and arias in honor of Bastille Day.

Performance Date: July 10, 2021

Tenor Errin Duane Brooks celebrates the centennial of Enrico Caruso’s death and Mario Lanza’s birth with a recital of arias and song.

Performance Date: August 5, 2021
