The Atelier d’Excellence has announced that superstar soprano Ermonela Jaho will become an ambassador for the organization.

Jaho will also be serving as a jury member of the Prix Atelier d’Excellence Competition.

“There is nothing more noble than sculpting the souls of people through Art,” Jaho told Operawire via email. “Singing has this unique power. Sharing this passion with the younger generation of singers is a privilege. We should all support future artists, as an investment in them is an investment in a better humanity.”

Jaho will officially be recognized by the organization via an online ceremony on Nov. 8 via the Atelier d’Excellence’s official Facebook page.

The soprano is currently in the midst of a run of performances of “Madama Butterfly” in Athens. She is also set to take on “Les Contes d’Hoffmann at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in January of 2021.

The Atelier d’Excellence is an organization dedicated to the artistic development and image building of rising opera stars.
