Ermonela Jaho Cancels Two Spanish Concerts Due to COVID-19

Ermonela Jaho has canceled two concerts in Spain due to COVID-19.

The soprano canceled a concert in Oviedo at the Auditorio Príncipe Felipe on Oct. 22 and in Bilbao at the Teatro Arriaga on Oct. 27 due to a recent infection of COVID-19.

Jaho was set to perform a concert alongside Riccardo Massi and Lucas Macías in Oviedo while in Bilbao she was set to perform a recital with Rubén Fernández Aguirre. According to Platea Magazine, the Oviedo concert will likely be rescheduled while the Bilbao concert is canceled.

Next up for Jaho is a production at the Gran Teatre del Liceu of “Suor Angelica.” She is also set to return to the Metropolitan Opera for a production of “La Traviata.”
