Washington Concert Opera will present its annual gala on Sept. 20, 2023 at the Embassy of France.

The showcase will feature soprano Erin Morley and pianist Gerald Martin Moore. The soprano performed with Washington Concert Opera in 2022, taking on the title role of “Lakmé.” Per Operabase, next up for the soprano are performances with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, BBC Proms, Houston Symphony, Royal Opera House, Teatro alla Scala, Philharmonie de Paris, Handel and Haydn Society, Orchestra of St. Luke’s, Vocal Arts DC, and the Bayerische Staatsoper.

Additionally, there will be a silent auction and raffle during the evening as well as a cocktail hour and formal dinner as part of the event. The event kicks off at 6 p.m.

All proceeds from the event go toward supporting the company’s outreach, education, and performance activities throughout the year.
