Erin Morley, Sasha Cooke & Elliot Madore Lead Chicago Symphony Orchestra’s 2022-23 Season

The Chicago Symphony Orchestra has announced its 2022-23 season which will feature Riccardo Muti’s final season as the CSO’s music director. Muti has served as Music Director for 13 years.

Here is a look at the vocal performances for the season.

Thomas Søndergård conducts a program with music by Stravinsky, Beethoven, and Sibelius with soloist Francesco Piemontesi and Chicago Symphony Chorus.

Performance Dates: Dec 1 – 6, 2022

Osmo Vänskä conducts Orff’s Carmina Burana with Joélle Harvey, Reginald Mobley, and Elliot Madore.

Performance Dates: March 16 – 18, 2023

Giovanni Antonini conducts Vivaldi’s “Gloria” with soloists Amanda Forsythe, Yulia Van Doren, and Sasha Cooke.

Performance Dates: May 4 – 9, 2023

The season concludes with Riccardo Muti conducting Beethoven’s Missa solemnis with Erin Morley, Alisa Kolosova, Giovanni Sala, and Ildar Abdrazakov.

Performance Dates: Jun 23 – 25, 2023
