Erin Morley, Amanda Woodbury, Hera Hyesang Park to Headline Glyndebourne 2022’s ‘Don Pasquale’ & ‘Nozze di Figaro’ Productions

Glyndebourne has announced additional casting for its 2022 festival.

The company revealed that its production of “Don Pasquale” will feature Erin Morley as Norina, Huw Montague Rendall as Malatesta, José Fardilha in the title role and Josh Lovell as Ernesto.

Meanwhile, “Le Nozze di Figaro” will star Hera Hyesang Park, Germán Olivera, Amanda Woodbury, and Emily Pogorelc.

The company is also set to present productions of “The Wreckers,” “La Bohème,” “Alcina,” “La Voix Humaine,” and “Les Mamelles de Tirésias” as part of its 2022 season.

“We are looking forward with great excitement to next year’s Festival which will be equally ambitious, featuring four new productions, including the first staging of Dame Ethel Smyth’s The Wreckers by a major opera house since 1939,” said Gus Christie, Executive Chairman of Glyndebourne in a press release announcing the end of the 2021 festival.
