The Orquesta Ciudad de Granada has announced its 2023-24 season with numerous vocal performances. Here is a look.

Maria J. Pacheco, Carmen Callejas, Juan M. Morales, Luis D. Barrios, Luis Ortega, and Rodrigo Navarro lead a Bach program with Ton Koopman conducting.

Performance Date: Sept. 15, 2023

Mezzo-soprano Anna Bonitatibus and violinist Kolja Blacher lead an Elgar evening with Joseph Swensen conducting.

Performance Date: Oct. 27, 2023

Álvaro Albiach leads an evening of Spanish music with Fuensanta “La Moneta,” Sergio Gomez “El Colorao” and Dimitris Tiliakos.

Performance Date: Nov. 24, 2023

Daniel Reuss conducts Handel’s “Messiah” with Hilary Summers, Thomas Walker, James Newby, and Berit Norbakken.

Performance Dates: Dec. 15 & 16, 2023

Lucas Macias conducts Mozart’s requiem with Erika Grimaldi, Teresa Iervolino, Airam Hernandez, and In-Sung Sim.

Performance Date: March 22, 2024

Giulia Semenzato and Christian Zaharias team up for Haydn, Brahms, and Copland.

Performance Date: April 26, 2024

Lucas Macias conducts Falla’s “La Vida Breve” with soloists Silvia Tro Santafe, Francesco Pio Galasso, Marta Infante, Angel Odena, Gerardo Jimenez, and Carolina Gilabert.
