The Teatro Municipal de Santiago has announced its 2025 season. Here is a look at the opera and vocal performances.

Opera

Erika Grimaldi and Oksana Sekerina star in Puccini’s “Madama Butterfly” with José Simerilla, Anthony Ciaramitaro, Kai Rüütel, Evelyn Ramírez, Eleomar Cuello, and Javier Weibel. Paolo Bortolameolli conducts the production by Verónica Villarroel.

Performance Dates: July 3-12, 2025

Yaritza Véliz and Alexandra Razskazoff take on the lead role of Verdi’s “La Traviata” with Mert Süngü, Leonardo Sánchez, Alfredo Daza, and Stephen Gaertner. Leonardo Sini conducts the production by Francisco Krebs.

Performance Dates: August 21-30, 2025

Sergey Romanovsky and Raffaele Abete sing the title role of Massenet’s “Werther” with Natalia Kutateladze, Marcela Rahal, Sabrina Gardez, Vanessa Rojas, Luke Sutliff, and Ramiro Maturana. Maximiano Valdés conducts the production by Emilio Sagi.

Performance Dates: Oct. 7-11, 2025

Strauss’ “Salomé” will star Malgorzata Pawlowska, Vanessa Goikoetxea, Liam James Karai, Michael Gniffke, Christel Loetzsch, and Gonzalo Quinchahual. Paolo Bortolameolli conducts the production by Christine Hucke.

Concerts

Evelino Pido conducts Haydn and Rossini’s Stabat Mater with Maria Kokareva, Megan Moore, Leonardo Sánchez, and Matías Moncada.
