English Touring Opera Unveils Autumn 2024 Slate

English Touring Opera has announced its autumn 2024 season.

Olivia Fuchs will direct “The Snowmaiden” with a cast starring Ffion Edwards, Kitty Wahtely, Katherine McIndoe, Edmund Danon, and Hannah Sandison, among others. Hannah Quinn conducts.

Performance Dates: Sept. 28 & Oct. 4 (London); Oct. 12 (Snape); Oct. 19 (Saffron Walden); Oct. 26 (Buxton); Nov. 4 (Crawley); Nov.  6 & 9 (Exeter); Nov. 16 (Poole)

Next up is the double bill of Judith Weir’s “Blond Eckert” and “Do not take my story for a fairytale.” The first work stars Alex Otterburn, Flora McIntosh, William Morgan, and Aoife Miskelly. The latter features the talents of Abigail Kelly, Amy J. Payne, Matthew McKinney, and Mark Nathan. “Do not take my story” features music by Tiek, Beethoven, Mariana Martines, and Schubert, among others.

Robin Norton-Hale directs and Gerry Cornelius conducts the production.
