English Touring Opera Announces 2026-27 Season

The English Touring Opera has announced its 2026-27 season.

Autumn 2026

The season opens with a double bill of “Ariadne” and “Dido & Aeneas.” The cast will include Jessica Cale, Kieron Connor Valentine, Samantha Price, Michael Lafferty, Isabelle Atkinson, Binny Supin-Young, Lydia Sharrif, Kieron Connor Valentine, and Guy Elliott. Anna Morrissey directs “Ariadne” and Rebecca Meltzer directs “Dido an Aeneas.” Alex Robinson conducts.

Performance Dates: Oct. 9-Nov. 21, 2026

“Orpheus & Eurydice” will star William Morgan, Galina Averina, Rosie Lomas, Isabelle Atkinson, Alexandra Meier, Guy Elliott, and Jonathan Eyers. Jenny Ogilvie directs and Iwan Davies conducts.

Performance Dates: Oct. 10-Nov. 20, 2026

Spring 2027

“Orpheus & Eurydice” will return to the stage. Jenny Ogilvie directs and Iwan Davies conducts.

Performance Dates: March 5-May 14, 2027

The season concludes with “Tosca” with Robin Norton-Hale directing and Gerry Cornelius conducting.

Performance Dates: March 6-May 15, 2027
