The English National Opera has announced that Matthew Quinn will be the new Chrous Director.

In a statement via social media Quinn said, “Delighted to be able to finally announce that I’ll be joining the English National Opera from this season as their new Chorus Director! To take this position with a National company that I admire so much with such an internationally renowned chorus is a dream. As is to be part of such an inspiring and innovative musical team. We kick off at the Coliseum in September with La Bohème!”

Quinn is experienced in opera and music theatre and has worked with the NI Opera, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Ulster Touring Opera, Northern Ireland Opera, the Hallé Orchestra, International College of Musical Theatre, and the National Youth Choir of Northern Ireland.
