Emily D’Angelo Highlights Live From Lincoln Center

Live From Lincoln Center will re-broadcast the Chamber Music Society in Greece concert.

As part of Lincoln Center At Home, Lincoln Center is partnering with The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center to bring re-broadcasts of their most popular performances.

Lincoln Center will broadcast “Odyssey: The Chamber Music Society in Greece,” which will take a virtual journey to the classical world with music by Mendelssohn, Beethoven, Bach, Debussy, Ravel, and Greek-American composer George Tsontakis.

The concert features Operalia winner and rising star  Emily D’Angelo.

“This was my first time in Greece and it was absolutely gorgeous,” D’Angelo told OperaWire at the time of the original broadcast. “Music is such a huge part of that culture and to be able to experience that and be part of that was very special. The audience members that came backstage after the performance really enjoyed it. It was a lovely atmosphere and well-received. This is the first time for PBS to go abroad for the Chamber Music Society and to see colleagues together, most of whom have never met, were able to meet and perform at a high-level and unexpected location was very cool.”

The concert will air at 5:30 p.m. ET on its Facebook page.

More broadcasts will be announced in the coming weeks.
