Emily D’Angelo, Barbara Hannigan & Cyrille Dubois Lead Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal’s 2023-24 Season

The Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal has announced its 2023-24 season.

The season opens with Camilla Tilling, Rose Naggar-Tremblay, Ladislav Elgr, Matthew Rose, and Jean-Willy Kunz. Rafael Payare conducts a program that includes Janáček’s Glagolitic Mass and Stravinsky’s “The Rite of Spring.”

Performance Dates: Sept. 12-14, 2023

Gemma New conducts Colin Currie and OSM Chorus in Nicole Lizée’s “Blurr is the Colour of My True Love’s Eyes” and Holst’s “The Planets.”

Performance Dates: Sept. 27-Oct. 1, 2023

Berlioz’s “L’Enfance du Christ” will be conducted by Hervé Niquet with soloists Cyrille Dubois, Julie Boulianne, Gordon Bintner, Robert Gleadow, and Tomislav Lavoie.

Performance Dates: Dec. 19, 2023

Barbara Hannigan conductor and performs Strauss‘ “Metamorphosen” and Poulenc’s “La voix humaine.”

Performance Dates: Feb. 28 & 29, 2024

Masaaki Suzuki conducts Bach’s “St. John’s Passion” with Sherezade Panthaki, Reginald Mobley, Werner Güra, and Bernhard Hansky.

Performance Dates: March 27 & 28, 2024

Kent Nagano conducts Esther Gonthier, Marie-Ève Scarfone, Olga Gross, and Chœur OSM in Beethoven’s Symphony No. 3 and Stravinsky’s “Les noces.”

Performance Dates: April 10 & 11, 2024

Gustavo Gimeno conducts Emily D’Angelo in a concert featuring Jarkko Riihimäki, Guðnadóttir, Mazzoli and Kirkland Snider, and Brahms.

Performance Date: May 4, 2024
